Tracy's Story: Losing 60 pounds!
Tracy and Kandy started Ulew Natural Products, LLC in May 2005 because of an effort to learn more about health and wellness after learning about the many environmental toxins that are linked to increased health issues of us and those around us. We had both modified our environment, using non-toxic cleaners, higher quality water and other environmental modifications. When learning the dangers of cosmetics and other personal care products, we saw an opportunity to educate others, learn more ourselves and launch a business we were passionate about. But one thing that Tracy struggled with, in spite of an interest in health, was weight. As an adult, she was over 200 most all of the time. In 2006, her mom died of cancer and she realized that it was critical to do something about her weight. She lost 60 pounds in 7 months and is still going - with 20 more to lose. Her "secret" has been a holistic approach. Her integrative medicine M.D. guided her toward a traditional diet, based on foods our ancestors have eaten for thousands of years - organic meats, good fats, unprocessed & chemical-free foods, foods preserved by ancient methods of preservation. But our foods today don't have the same nutritional value theirs did and because losing weight is about getting your body healthy so that it can heal itself as it can and should, it was also important to supplement this diet with real food nutrition of the highest quality. We found two product lines that were of the highest quality and made of real food. Using In-Liven and NutriHarmony has helped Tracy's body function properly and heal itself without calorie restrictions or starvation. Now she's not only thinner, but healthier.
